Kira started sitting up unaided on Sunday night while we were at a birthday party for cousin Emma.  She was sitting on my lap watching the kids open presents and I suddenly realized she’d been upright without any support for quite a while.  We put her in the grass and she just sat up and grinned quite proudly.  Yay – a milestone!

 

 

 

 

PS:  She still refuses to roll over.  She gets about 97% of the way there and then decides it’s not worth the trouble.

PPS:  Okay, it turns out she can roll over and did so 3 times yesterday.  My dad just didn’t tell me because he thought I’d feel bad that I missed it.
